Ifeanyi Idiaye R & Python Programmer

Hi, I’m Ifeanyi Idiaye. I hold a degree in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University, UK. Nowadays, I work as a data scientist/developer, with fluency in both R and Python programming, Shiny, Gephi, SQL, and Neo4j.

I have worked with a social media marketing firm as a data scientist, where my job entailed writing programs for scraping and analyzing Twitter data, using machine learning techniques to extract vital marketing and business insights from such data. I also developed a web application that was used to monitor trending topics, keywords, and hashtags on Twitter in different European countries simultaneously.

Presently, I am working as a freelance developer of software for importing network data from popular digital platforms, which can then be exported to social network analysis tools for scientific analysis.

I have a passion for data science, programming, and technology and a strong desire to learn new methods and technologies that can be leveraged to create solutions to problems. When I am not on my computer analyzing data or coding, then I am lounging on my couch, listening to old school music.

I have followed Statistics Globe for a while now, watching their YouTube tutorials from which I have learned quite a lot myself. Now, I am really happy to be able to work with the team to create further educative programming and statistical content on the Statistics Globe website.
