Adrián Álvarez Molina | Guest Author on Statistics Globe
Hi there, my name is Adrián. I’m a scientist doing a PhD at the Universidad de León where I investigate whether antibiotics resistance in bacteria is a problem in food industries.
I started to generate data which I should analyze in order to help preserve food safety in the world.
Long story short, that’s why I decided to learn R programming two years ago. Back in the days, it cost me a lot to decide to learn R programming, as I found those subjects difficult/boring, and I did not have ANY prior experience in programming.
But I was wrong! After some practice, I noticed that I preferred the practical approach of R programming compared to the “just theory” approach many teachers have.
If you feel like me, you may follow me on LinkedIn for short, practical, and easy tips on how to start using the R programming language!
